Danny

Daniel J. Adams, P.E.
President/CEO

Prior to joining Adams Engineering, Danny Adams served as an officer in the United States Air Force. During his four-year tour of duty, Mr. Adams served as the Chief of Engineering Design and the Chief of Construction Management at Carswell AFB, Texas. He supervised the design and construction of numerous projects regarding maintenance, repair, construction and alteration of building facilities, street pavements, airfield pavements, mechanical systems and electrical systems at Carswell AFB.
Mr. Adams also has extensive engineering and environmental experience in the private sector, including residential subdivisions, commercial developments, hospitals/medical complexes, street and drainage projects, water supply and wastewater sewer systems, property surveying, environmental studies for hazardous waste treatment, Phase I environmental studies, surveying for roadway route locations, bridge structural analysis, site design for big-box retail and distribution warehouse projects.

Rob adams

Rob Adams is an engineer with broad experience in all aspects of civil engineering. His survey field experience provides him with a unique understanding of projects from conception through construction. Mr. Adams has designed and managed numerous private and public projects including the site design, grading and drainage design, water and sewer plans for single-family residential subdivisions, multi-family developments, big box retail developments, professional business parks, hospitals and schools. Mr. Adams has also managed public projects such as: municipal roadway alignments, drainage improvements, water distribution systems, waste water collection systems and lift stations. Mr. Adams possesses strong leadership and communication skills, and has the ability to motivate and work effectively with management, peers, staff and clients.

Joe T. Jones, C.P.A.
Sr. Vice President/CFO

Joe Jones joined Adams as the firm’s controller in 1998. Prior to this, he served as Adams’ accounting and tax matters consultant for 15 years. He now serves as Sr. Vice President/CFO. He began his professional career with the national accounting firm of Ernest & Young in 1969. He has served in the controllership departments of several real estate development and service companies, as well as working in public accounting. His emphasis was on setting up cost, internal control budgetary and reporting systems.

Garry

Garry J. Houston
Sr. Vice President/Business Development

Upon joining Adams Engineering in 1992, Garry Houston assisted in developing an outstanding marketing plan for Adams. Currently, he specializes in developing new clientele and has successfully developed a nationwide clientele base that includes several internationally recognized firms. Mr. Houston coordinates the marketing efforts of the headquarters office located in Tyler, TX, as well as the branch offices. Prior to joining Adams, Mr. Houston worked nationally in real estate sales, development, and construction primarily for multi-family, commercial and industrial firms. He has provided marketing and client development services for engineering and construction firms for 25 years.
