Adams Engineering celebrates 30 years of business and launches a new web presence.
The revamped website provides a greater reflection of what the consulting firm offers and a portfolio that shows the depth of projects completed over the last three decades. The firm has humble East Texas roots beginning in 1980 as a one-man civil engineering shop based out of Tyler. Ten years later, the business had grown and ADAMS had added almost 20 employees. The company officially changed leadership in 2000 when Gary Adams, the founder, passed the presidency to his brother and partner, Danny Adams. ADAMS has several employees who have been with the company since those early days. Says Rick Martindale, Program Manager, "I started working with ADAMS in 1981 while I was in college -- immediately fell in love with the profession, the company, and its staff and I still love it today. We have a great family culture and I can always be proud of the work we do for our clients. That means a lot to me." Today, ADAMS has three offices in addition to the Tyler, Texas office. Client demand expanded the firm's geographic presence to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; San Diego, California; and Tampa, Florida. Consulting services have also expanded to include environmental engineering, landscape architecture, planning, real estate services and site selection services. "We owe our longevity and success to our outstanding employees and loyal clients. Many companies make that statement, but for the past 28 years that I have worked with this group, there is no doubt that ADAMS celebrates this rich 30-year history because of our employees' contributions and our clients' confidence in the services we provide," states Danny Adams.
