G. Robert Adams, PE, CPESC
President/CEO

Growing up in and around the business since the Company’s inception in 1980, Rob started his land development education as part of Adams’ survey crew. Following in his family’s footsteps, Rob attended Texas A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, Rob joined his father and uncle in business, learning the engineering and land development consulting business from the ground up. Rob was integral in helping grow and expand the Company beyond its East Texas roots, opening the DFW office in 1997. Since 2002, Rob has served as Chief of Operations, expanding the Company into the Austin, TX market. With strong leadership skills and an eye on the future, Rob continues to lead the Company, striving for improvement in project delivery and overall client satisfaction.

Ben R. Henry, PLA, LEED AP BD+C

Ben Henry is a landscape architect with diverse work experience in both the private and public sectors. He has been with Adams Engineering & Development Consultants since 2002 and now oversees all projects through design and production. Ben specializes in site design and manages the design coordination and efforts of other professionals in the fields of institutional, retail, residential, parks and recreation development. He has first-hand experience preparing construction plans, specifications and bid documents with experience in construction administration and daily on-site inspection of various municipal projects. Because of Ben’s background, he understands the process required of many different projects and is adept in balancing both project requirements and the client’s needs and goals. In addition, Ben has strong leadership skills and a sharp eye for detail which has proved to be essential in his leadership role as the Director of Design & Production.

Jimmy Fechter, PLA
Principal / Director of Business Development

Jimmy serves as the Director of Business Development for Adams Engineering & Development Consultants. Jimmy has over 19 years of experience in planning and landscape architecture and has worked on a blend of recreational, mixed-use and residential project types. With his unique background in business development and a project experience Jimmy strives to provide innovative master plans and design solutions that are creative and efficient. His approach maximizes both the functionality and visual quality of a site. His early experiences of large-scale recreational planning taught him to design to the natural characteristics of each site. Jimmy also understands the inner working of City governments and how to guide future development as he serves on the City of Grapevine’s Planning & Zoning Commission. He is a veteran with 24 years of military service and his favorite pastime is coaching his son’s baseball team.

Ted Murday, PE
Principal / Director of Engineering

Ted has called the DFW area home for the past 40 years. From an early age, he has enjoyed the challenges of designing and building new ideas. He began honing his leadership skills while earning the Eagle Scout award, and by high school his coursework already had him on a career path toward engineering. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering in 1994. Ted’s early work experience included survey and FAA facilities design. He would later join Carter and Burgess (now Jacobs) as an engineering team leader and civil project manager, spending the next 5 years overseeing various retail and distribution projects across the nation. Ted came to Adams Engineering & Development Consultants in September of 2003, where he currently serves as the Director of Engineering for the Dallas office. He oversees many facets of project design, ensuring that the plans are accurate and meet the needs of the client. He utilizes his 21-plus years of experience in the land development field to deliver quality projects on demanding schedules. His project experience includes roadway, residential, K-12, retail, and parks projects for both public and private sector clients. Ranging from 2-acre restaurants to 200 acre distribution centers, Ted is comfortable with the very diverse design challenges that these projects represent.

Bryan Rossman
Principal / Director of Operations in Tyler

Bryan has been part of the leadership team at Adams Engineering & Development Consultants for 4 years. He is a valuable asset to the Adams Engineering & Development Consultants team because of his outstanding background in leadership, business operations and development services. Bryan worked in the Construction industry for over 30 years with C Construction Co., a mid-sized general contracting firm. The firm specialized in federal construction, primarily performing contracts for the Department of Defense across the Southern US from 1981 through mid-2011. He began his career in the construction industry as a carpenter in the 1970’s. He worked his way up through the management ranks and eventually owned controlling interest and served as the CEO and Chairman of one of the region’s largest general contracting firms. The companies completed over a billion dollars in revenues in their multi- decade history. He also founded some small, specialty contracting firms which operated in the East Texas market for five years. Bryan has worked with many developers and eventually owned, managed and operated a small real estate development company in Tyler, Texas. In addition to his operation duties, Bryan utilizes his vast experience in business development, construction administration and owners representation, which has expand the scope of consulting and development services offered at Adams Engineering & Development Consultants.

Jack Garner, PE
Principal / Director of Operations in Austin

Jack has extensive land development experience and manages the design, bid and build processes for all projects in the Austin office. In 2007, Jack joined Adams Engineering & Development Consultants as a project manager in the Dallas office. Jacks passion for the industry allowed him to quickly climb the ladder and become a valuable asset to the Adams Engineering & Development Consultants team. In 2014, he relocated to open a new office for Adams Engineering & Development Consultants in Austin and he serves as the Director of Operations for the central Texas area. Jack’s overall experience includes project management, client & municipal coordination, construction bid & design administration, cost efficiency planning, and the production of all civil design documents. Jack’s communication skills and managing style is unique in his ability to manage and resolve conflict. Jack oversees all layouts and calculations throughout the planning phases and ensures the most cost effective designs are prepared for the client.
